BIG SHOUT OUT to Mr. Philip Aguilar and Mr. Anthony Arguello. They were part of the November School Board CTE showcase. They have reached out and generated an awesome partnership with Cavender Auto Group Texas and Ford Motor Company. Through that partnership, they are offering the Ford Academy. When their students finish training, they will be eligible for entry-level jobs at local Dealerships. Big thanks to Mr. Manny Ortiz and Don Houghton from Cavender and Ameerah Parker from Ford Manufacturing.

Yathzel Cortez was invited to stay over the night at St. Mary's University's Sleeping Bag Weekend, where she got the opportunity to tour campus, meet other senior students from around the country, and engage with college students and professors. The University also took the invited students on a tour of downtown San Antonio.
