I am Itzamara Canales, the proud Principal of Henry B. Gonzalez Elementary School. I bring with me 24 years of experience with a strong passion for academic excellence, personal growth, and a safe and inclusive learning environment.
I firmly believe in a "Professional Learning Community" where we focus on learning rather than teaching, a culture of collaboration, and a focus on results. I believe open communication and collaboration are essential to student academic success.
